One of the early A-2s produced by Steinway, measuring about 6', in an inspiring rosewood empire case.

This piano, even when it arrived in its neglected state, exuded tons of soul. (See video.)

I am collaborating with Mosaic Pianos, a top-notch rebuild shop in Greensboro to give this worthy instrument a thorough restoration. They will expertly handle the belly work (soundboard and bridge rejuvenation). Then it comes to my shop to receive a brand new Renner action, new hammers, damper felt, plus all the attention required to bring out its full beauty.
