In 2010, this vintage Steinway was rebuilt by the Greensboro shop currently known as Mosaic Piano Service. And by "rebuilt" I honestly mean rebuilt. They gave this piano a new soundboard, new pinblock, completely new action parts, new strings ... basically, the works. It also received a stunning case refinish, causing the piano to seem to make music even when no one is playing it!

For 75 years this piano has been cared for like a family member. Now it's ready for a new chapter to add to its storied past (which, by the way, includes an upstate NY inn that held a chamber music series).
