I love sourcing pianos that have been in an excellent care environment. For the owner of this console, the piano was not an inanimate object and she made me promise to get it into a musical home where it will be enjoyed.

 

This piano gets my standard 7-point protocol which is the minimum I give to all my uprights. It includes leveling the keys, vacuuming out the interior, a full action regulation (exceeding what pianos usually get when new), and voicing as well. Being a Japanese-made piano of very high quality I'm excited to reveal the finished product to someone who will hear its beauty and help me fulfill my promise to the original owner.
