This piano was at the heart of a single family's musical life for multiple generations. The last guardian had it lovingly restored by Mosaic Piano Service (in Greensboro) in 2012. At that time, the original soundboard was rejuvenated with marine-grade epoxy, the pinblock replaced, and the piano restrung. The action was completely rebuilt as well using Renner part and Ronsen Weickert felt hammers.

Warmth, sustain, and color abound in this highly-refined Steinway from one of their best eras!
